Founder & Lead Home Safety & Check-In Specialist

Susan Humphrey brings over 30 years of experience working with older adults as a licensed occupational therapist, with a career focused on safety, functional independence, and aging in place.

Throughout her career, Susan has worked closely with seniors and their families to identify everyday risks, improve home safety, and support independence in a respectful, practical way.

Her background provides a strong foundation for understanding how people move through their homes, where risks may exist, and how small adjustments can make a meaningful difference.

In her role with Coastal Senior Home Safety & Support, Susan provides non-medical home safety inspections and senior check-in visits. These services are preventative and observational only and do not include medical care, therapy, or clinical treatment.

Families appreciate Susan’s calm approach, clear communication, and thoughtful attention to safety — while seniors value her respectful, non-intrusive presence.

Susan is proud to serve seniors and families throughout Southwest Florida with a focus on safety, clarity, and peace of mind.

Susan Humphrey is a certified professional through Age Safe America, a nationally recognized organization dedicated to improving home safety and reducing risks for older adults through education and professional training.

This certification supports our commitment to providing professional, non-medical, preventative home safety services for seniors and families.
